Haleakala Cottage

Nestled in the corner of our private two acre estate, Haleakala Cottage is a cozy studio cottage set amidst a jungle garden of serene greens and bright, larger than life tropical flowers. This tiny gem of a cottage seems much larger than its 350 - 400 square feet because the interior space flows seamlessly outdoors, so all of nature becomes your living room - a wonderfully tranquil setting to laze with a long, cool drink at the end of the day and enjoy the soft sunset light.

Or perhaps after a golden day at the beach or a tough afternoon floating in the pool set a shamelessly romantic dinner for 2 as evening creeps softly in with its heady fragrances of orange blossom and night blooming jasmine. The cottage looks out over rolling pastures to the rainforested folds of Maui's "House of the Sun" - the 10,000ft summit of Mt Haleakala ... fall asleep to the lullaby of the she-oaks "singing" in the wind at night.

This cozy cottage has a king bed, your own barbecue, 3 private lanais, heated towel racks, DVD/CD player as well as a full size gourmet kitchen - everything you need to create your own Maui honeymoon hideaway. The Hawaiian decor is full of light and dancing color, echoed by cool tiled floors and vivid tropical prints on the walls. Everyone loves the cobalt blue and terracotta tiled bathroom which becomes part of the garden where you can luxuriate in a hot shower, or sink into your own private hot tub under the stars ... surrounded by white lattice, tropical dreams and the warm sweet scents of a romantic Maui night.
